Delivery Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities

Deliveries day: Saturday morning 10:00-12:30

This shift involves shopping for customers and delivering their shopping to their homes by foot or by bicycle. You will have interaction with customers, other volunteers and staff.

Tasks include:

• shopping for customers from a shopping list provided

• packing up the food to be delivered

• delivering bags of shopping to customers by foot or by bicycle

• ensuring payment by cash and giving correct change

• delivering friendly, inclusive customer service

• maintaining good levels of hygiene in the shop and during deliveries
